Event Details

LatinVIP.com is hosting the first ever Latin-themed scavenger hunt to take place in the Washington, DC area. The B.U.S.C.A.R. (Battle to Uncover, Search, Compete And Race) Scavenger Hunt will leads teams of 3 or 4 across Washington, DC as they look for clues, collect items and compete in challenges to be the 1st team to cross the finish line.

Although this may be giving away a few hints prematurely, the entire scavenger hunt will consist of and be related Hispanic/Latino interests throughout Washington, DC. 

The winning team will receive
$1000 in cash as well as the title of the 2011 B.U.S.C.A.R SCAVENGER HUNT CHAMPIONS!

RULES

1. Teams must be composed of 3 or 4 members with a team captain.
2. All teams must travel together to each location and either collect item or participate in challenge.
3. Teams must take a group photo at each location or upon completing task. ALL TEAMS MEMBERS MUST BE IN THE PHOTO. So either have a passerby take the shot or set the timer on your camera. If you do not have a team photo for a specific location or task your team will be considered as not having completed it.
4. Metro is the only acceptable form of transportation (other than your two legs). Cars, cabs, bicycles or hitchhiking will call for your disqualification. 
5. Race takes place rain or shine.
6. You must pre-register your team.
7. Each team member will be given a metro all day pass for unlimited rides the day of the scavenger hunt.
8. The winning team will be chosen by being the first team to return to the starting location with all the photos from each destination point.
